When words weren’t there,
I picked up my camera.

These images represent a turning inward, and in many ways a homecoming to what started me in photography in the first place, a place to put my grief, a place to express myself. After photographing others for the last 10 years, I am reunited with my camera as a source of creative self expression and healing.

This art has been born out of a practice of moving through experiences that left me without words. Of finding light in darker times, creating moments of creative joy through the weight that felt so hard to shift. Each photograph a way to connect to what lies within.

These are images are about identity, mental health, the fragility and fullness of life. The beautiful melancholy of it all. The glimmers of hope that can be easily overlooked. The whispers and roars of what it means to be human.

I have always been drawn to the quiet corners where imperfection sits. The places where beauty reveals itself as something intimate, raw and honest.

Here you will find small reflections of our shared humanity; complex, tender, and alive.
