ARTIST STATEMENT

After ten years of photographing others, this body of work represents an extension of my artistry, one that connects me on a deeper level to both myself and world around me.

This work is my poetry made visible, capturing the beautiful melancholy of life, the glimmers of hope, and the whispers and roars of what it means to be human.

Much of this collection emerged as a way to move through profound experiences that left me without words, exploring themes of identity, mental health, and the fragility of life.

Other pieces were created in search of light during darker times, while still others were born from moments of pure joy and connection with nature or fellow humans.

Each image serves as both documentation and meditation, exploring the complex emotional landscapes we all navigate.

I spent many hours on the beach as a child hands deep in the mix of pebbles, searching for hidden treasures, and the work within this site remind me of that time where each photograph was created through an act
of curious discovery.

I have always found myself drawn to spaces that are so often overlooked. The quiet corners where light whispers secrets and shadows hold stories, and gazing at items often tossed aside.

In these forgotten places, beauty reveals itself not as something grand, but as something intimate and true.
